One recent study has confirmed the fact that reducing meat consumption is good and it can benefit your personal health. The researchers from the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine in Washington DC found that following a vegetarian diet is about twice as effective than a carnivorous one, when it comes to losing weight.
